In this hands-on class, you will learn to create a beautiful, full-flavored mezze spread using Chef Tess’ personal recipes. On the Mezze Menu: Mediterranean Kebabi; full flavored / seasoned ground meat skewers with Greek Drizzle Dressing, Tiropitakia; Phyllo wrapped savory cheese triangles, accompanied by Tzatziki; Savory Greek Yogurt Dip, and Greek hummus, in addition to homemade Pita Bread! With a low 6:1 student-to-coach ratio, kids get plenty of attention and hands-on instruction in a fun, supportive setting. Our trained coaches make learning golf exciting with games and activities that teach grip, stance, swing, putting, and chipping. Along the way, kids also explore golf rules, etiquette, and a fun STEAM tie-in that helps bring the game to life. Tantalizing Thai CuisineCulinaryThai cuisine is a true feast for the senses—flavorful, aromatic, and beautifully presented, with careful attention to taste, texture, and aroma. In this engaging culinary experience, you’ll begin by preparing fresh Vietnamese summer rolls, served with hoisin and peanut dipping sauces. Next, you’ll make crispy Vietnamese spring rolls filled with pork, turkey, and glass noodles, wrapped in rice paper and fried to golden perfection. You’ll then move on to a classic Pad Thai, combining rice noodles with chicken, eggs, chilis, garlic, basil, scallions, bean sprouts, and a balance of bold, vibrant flavors. To finish our flavorful tour, enjoy a light and refreshing Thai lime custard topped with freshly whipped cream. This class includes both demonstration and hands-on instruction. Tex Mex FiestaCulinaryIn Spanish, “fiesta” means “feast”, and generally refers to a large party—and that’s exactly what you’ll experience in this lively, flavor-packed cooking class! Our fiesta will start with savory empanadas, flaky pastries filled with seasoned beef, tomatoes, potatoes, and herbs. Next, prepare crispy flautas featuring chicken in a zesty jalapeño-garlic paste, rolled in corn tortillas and fried to golden perfection. You’ll then prepare authentic Mexican rice with onions, garlic, tomatoes, and fresh cilantro, along with Mexican-style street corn topped with lime aioli, a hint of cayenne, and Cotija cheese. For the main event, cook up sizzling fajitas with strips of tender marinated beef and chicken, sautéed with fresh bell peppers and onions, all wrapped in warm tortillas. Research suggests that lifestyle choices can influence how our bodies function over time, sometimes making a noticeable difference in how we feel as we age. You can be 50 and have the physiology of a 30-year-old, and vice versa, depending on how well you take care of yourself. In this workshop, you’ll learn simple, practical steps you can take now to support the health of your body’s systems—both today and in the future. The Art of Carnitas & Homemade TortillasCulinaryCrispy, golden-edged carnitas with juicy, melt-in-your-mouth centers—this is what taco dreams are made of. Join this chef-led, hands-on cook-along and create a full-flavored carnita feast from scratch in your own kitchen. We will learn how to make tender, flavorful carnitas using an electric multi-cooker, along with the essential techniques and ingredients that make this mouthwatering melt-in-your-mouth dish so delicious. From there, we’ll make soft flour tortillas, and traditional corn tortillas from scratch, gaining the confidence to work with different types of dough. To complete the experience, we’ll prepare quick-pickled red onions that add the perfect bright, tangy contrast that brings everything together into the perfect bite. While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional. On the menu: Multi-cooker Carnitas, handcrafted flour tortillas, handcrafted corn tortillas, and quick-pickled red onions.
