Week-Long Horse Day Camp | age 6-15Enrichment | Special InterestJoin us for a week of fun, friendship, and horses! Campers will develop real skills in the arena and on the ground. Each day includes riding sessions as well as ground activities like grooming, bathing, and learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon. Campers are grouped based on similar riding experience, making this camp perfect for both beginners and more experienced riders. Riding takes place in the arena for about one hour each day (no trail rides) and focuses on learning to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot independently. The rest of the day, campers will spend time on the ground with horses—gaining a deeper understanding of what it’s like to own and care for one. This is a great opportunity for campers to bond with the horses, enjoy the outdoors, and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers. This is a drop-off camp. Parents do not stay during camp sessions. However, families are invited to a performance on Friday at 1:30pm! It’s a great chance to see what their camper has learned, take pictures, watch your child ride, and meet the horse they've worked with during the week. What to Wear & Bring: Closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops!) Clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor barn activities in all weather Sunscreen, hat, and bug spray Water bottle Nut-free bag lunch and snacks ASTM/SEI certified helmets are provided.
