Children learn best through play experiences, which are essential to a child's growth. We will look at the amazing benefits of play in childhood, engage in playful activities with our children, and learn how to set up beneficial play activities at home. Come prepared to laugh and enjoy your child's play and even have fun yourself! This is a non-separating class. Is your student ready to boost their tennis skills? This engaging class helps players build confidence and consistency using specially designed orange tennis balls on a 60 x 21-foot court. With 50% of the compression of a standard tennis ball, these balls make it easier to rally, refine technique, and feel successful right away. Students will develop groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, and serves while learning scoring, smart court positioning, and match play basics. Instruction follows the USTA Net Generation curriculum, creating a fun, active, and supportive environment where skills grow fast. Inspired by beloved plush toys, kids will craft a silly pizza, an adorable cupcake trinket box, and a lovable dinosaur from clay. Packed with paint, laughter, and endless imagination, this class is pure joy! Please pack a nut-free snack and a beverage for your child. Students who are registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage. *** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. We’ll also explore ways to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and regain bone mass, including: Current insights on nutrition, minerals, and trace minerals Foods that may help support or hinder bone health Lifestyle habits that can contribute to maintaining bone strength over time Wear loose, comfortable clothing for movement.
