Paint Your Pet ProjectArtsAnyone can do a Paint Your Pet Project, regardless of art experience. Jeremy Ross, Founder of Paint & Sip Minnesota by Your Bearded Artist, will walk you through color mixing and painting techniques to get your pet’s fur and features just right. There’s no guesswork and no pressure. Paint your dog, chicken, iguana, or pig – we don’t discriminate. At the end of the event, you’ll have a frame-worthy keepsake. This event is a must for every pet lover! ONE PET PER PAINTING, PLEASE. No exceptions. Once registered, email a high-resolution digital photo to communityed@isd728.org with "Paint Your Pet Project Photo" as the subject. Uncropped, full-body shots with uncluttered backgrounds work best. This ensures your pet’s proportions are correct in the finished product. Using your photo, a grayscale outline of your pet is printed onto a canvas. Parent/Child: Transition | age 3+LessonsThis class is created for young swimmers working toward independent swimming but who are not yet comfortable leaving their parent/guardian. Adult and child will work together to develop skills crucial for learning to swim and promote safety in the water. Adults can expect to be in the water for the first few classes. As the session progresses, parents will transition to the pool deck and, finally, to the stands. Students will focus on learning to listen to an instructor without their parent in the water. There are no prerequisites for this class. Requirements: Child must be at least 3 years old to enroll. Parent/guardian must accompany their student at each class. Children who are not toilet trained should wear swim diapers. Someone from the Community Education office will contact you to make/confirm the arrangements and collect payment. Once the party is approved by Community Education staff, a confirmation will be sent by email. If your party request is unavailable, you will be contacted by Community Education to consider another time, date or location. General Information All party packages are for 2 hours and can accommodate up to 10 children (adults not included in attendance count). At lease one adult must be present during the entire event and is expected to supervise children. Parent/guardian is responsible for bringing their own food, beverages and serving utensils. Table cloths, plates, napkins, silverware and banner can be selected from the list at the bottom of this form and are included in the party package fee. No latex balloons are allowed in any school buildings. Reserved space will be available 15 minutes prior to the party start time stated on your request; you are responsible for your own setup. Groups must cleanup and exit the building within 15 minutes of the end time on your request, unless additional time is arranged. Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the party; there maybe a $25 processing fee for any refunds. Party date approval is based on space and staff availability.
