In this workshop, you will learn practical techniques designed to help strengthen and support your lower body, including: Janice Novak's famous ‘10 Minute Miracle Exercise’ series to strengthen lower body muscles quickly, and increase metabolism and bone density How you may be able to decrease 2 inches off saddlebag area in 2 weeks Trim inches off lower body by getting rid of excess water weight Breathing technique to stimulate fat metabolism Acupressure points for lymph circulation and drainage If you don’t have the time, money, or inclination to get to the gym, you will love these powerful and effective techniques. The magic of the holiday season meets the wonders of science! In this festive camp, kids will embark on a journey of discovery as they explore chemistry through glittery and Christmasy experiments. Each experiment is designed to captivate young minds and ignite a love for science. Young chemists will unravel the mysteries of chemical reactions while doing dazzling holiday-themed experiments. Join us for a merry and magical adventure where science and Christmas cheer collide! Please send a permission note to the school informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. Students will check-in with EdVenture Club after school.

Back by popular demand! Step into a sweet winter wonderland in this joyful holiday cookie workshop. Chef Tess will teach the foundations of decorating cookies with Royal Icing, along with a bakery-style favorite called Black-and-White Cookies. These classic treats are half-way between a cake and a cookie, and covered with glossy chocolate and vanilla ganache-style icing on top. If you’re looking to start a new holiday tradition and add a truly special cookie to your repertoire, this festive family-friendly class is for you. Gather your family for a fun baking experience or enjoy a little creative time for yourself. Participants will bake their own sugar cookies in advance so they are ready to decorate at the start of class. About five days prior to class, you will receive a PDF packet with two of the instructor’s personal sugar cookie recipes—one soft and chewy, one crisp—along with a full list of ingredients and supplies for Royal Icing to allow time for shopping and baking. Choose to bake one or both using festive cookie cutters of choice. The packet will also include supplies needed to create the bakery-style Black & White cookies, which will be made during class. We will also create Royal Icing with the proper consistency, and learn the foundations of decorating with it on our pre-made sugar cookies. No fancy equipment needed. The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

Join us for The Polar Express, the magical train ride to the North Pole that will warm your heart and spark your holiday spirit. Watch the adventure unfold on the big screen while sipping on hot chocolate and enjoying a sweet cookie treat—just like a ride to the North Pole should be! Pajamas and cozy vibes encouraged. If an assistant plans to eat with the group, please register using the “Participant & Assistant Participating” option so we can plan for enough food.

Create custom, holiday-themed décor to celebrate the season. In this hands-on class, you’ll choose from a variety of colors and patterns as you design three decorative accent pieces. You can follow provided examples or create your own designs using paint, stencils and vinyl materials. Instruction is clear and easy to follow, with plenty of room for creativity. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to eat and sip during class.

Do you want to paint a pretty picture? If so – this group is NOT for you! Holy Fire Intuitive painting takes you on a journey of trust and discovery. During this weekly 90-minute group, which meets for four-weeks, we will use the power of paint, paper, and the mighty brush to learn to listen to the voice of our soul and trust our wise intuitive self. Your instructor, Brenda, uses movement, music, and sacred shaking that allows the group to express the often hidden places of our being. This is a place to get a little messy, maybe laugh, maybe cry, but mostly a safe space to express your precious self. All materials included in the workshop fee for in-person registration. Participants who register with the online option will be provided with a supply list and Zoom link a few days before the start of class.

Ever wonder what it’s like to have a horse for a day? Step into the barn and experience the fun and responsibility of horse ownership! Campers will enjoy 40–50 minutes of riding each day in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas (no trail rides), learning how to steer, stop, turn, and walk independently while building confidence in the saddle. Beyond riding, campers will dive into barn life by feeding and caring for the horses—an important part of being a horse owner. Days may also include making horse treats, creating a fun craft, or playing games. Campers are grouped with others of similar riding experience to ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable experience for everyone. What to Wear & Bring: Closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops!) Long pants and weather-appropriate layers Sunscreen, hat, and bug spray Water bottle Nut-free bag lunch and snacks Optional: treats for the horses ASTM/SEI-certified helmets are provided.
