Skyhawks First Down Tots introduces your little athlete to football by focusing on motor skills, body control, and basic skills such as throwing and catching. No tackling or blocking is involved, just pure fun and skill development! Participants should wear appropriate athletic attire and bring a water bottle. All other equipment will be provided. Rubber cleats are allowed for outdoor classes only—they cannot be worn on the gym floors. Parent participation is required.

DASH Sports Flag Football Tykes camps provide young athletes with an introductory experience to the game of football in a fun, safe, and low-to-no-contact environment. Participants will learn and practice key football fundamentals, including passing, catching, rushing, and defense, through engaging, skill-based activities and games. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing and athletic shoes—spikes/cleats are optional. Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2–3-year-old age group and recommended as needed for participants ages 4 and up.

Players will learn how to properly handle a stick, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Please bring a water bottle. Sticks and pucks are provided. Slow down and connect with nature through the practice of forest bathing. Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is a slow, mindful practice, that encourages connecting with nature through the senses. Research shows that spending time in nature has many benefits including decreasing stress, lowering blood pressure, and improving mood. As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Mary will offer a series of invitations to explore a deeper connection with nature and with yourself. Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle. In the event of inclement weather, participants will be notified via text message (opt-in required during account creation). This program is offered in partnership with the City of Rogers Parks & Recreation.

Busy night? Skip the takeout—make pizza your easiest meal of the week. In this step-by-step class, you’ll learn how to prepare and freeze homemade pizzas for quick, healthy, affordable, stress-free dinners anytime. We’ll make fresh freezer-friendly pizza dough, use it to prepare the crusts, and go through the process required for topping, freezing, storage, and baking so they bake up perfectly from frozen each time. Important pro-tips for freezer friendly dough and toppings will also be shared. You’ll also learn how to prepare a fast no-knead pizza—an easy mix-and-bake method that comes together in under an hour from start to finish. With make-ahead tips, and ready-to-go ingredient ideas, you’ll leave with practical ways to save time and money, eat healthier, and always have a delicious meal within reach. The recipes used are Chef Tess originals, intended to make the experience simple and flavorful each and every time. Equipment Needs: Stand mixer, and 12-inch disposable aluminum pizza pans. The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required. The week of class, you will receive an email with an ingredient and supply list, prep packet, and Zoom link. The love of tennis starts here! This fun and welcoming class is designed just for our youngest beginners, using mini-nets, an 18 x 36-foot court, and specially designed red tennis balls. These larger balls have only 25% of the compression of a standard tennis ball, making them easier to hit—so kids enjoy longer rallies, better stroke development, and lots more FUN! Players will build basic skills, coordination, and confidence through games and activities aligned with the USTA Net Generation curriculum, all in a positive and playful environment.
