Fused Glass Batik Method
Fused glass batik is a unique art form that combines traditional batik techniques with glass fusing. This method involves using glass powders and sheets to create vibrant, layered designs that mimic the look of batik fabric. Students will apply powdered glass to a base layer, then fuse it in a kiln to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.
Your completed project will be fired in the kiln at the instructor's studio. Approximately one week after the class, we will notify you by email when your projects are available for pick-up at Handke Center, 1170 Main Street, Elk River.
