Ceramics: Clay Exploration
Experience the tactile art of working with clay in this hands-on ceramics class! Whether you’re brand new to pottery or looking to build on existing skills, this class welcomes all experience levels.
You’ll begin with a hand-building project to learn foundational techniques. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, you’ll progress to throwing on the pottery wheel, where you’ll practice centering clay, pulling cylinders, and shaping bowls and vases as time allows. Along the way, you’ll create pieces that are functional, sculptural, or decorative—perfect for displaying at home or gifting to someone special.
Please wear old clothing, as working with clay can get a little messy (that’s part of the fun!).
Project Pick-Up: Completed pieces will be fired in the kiln and available for pick-up one week after the final class.
