DASH - Track & Field Camp | age 6-12

Run fast, jump far, and throw strong! DASH Sports Summer Track & Field Camp gives athletes the opportunity to explore a wide variety of track and field events in a fun, motivating environment. Campers will practice sprinting, relay running, distance running, long jump, and throwing events like javelin and shot put, with a strong emphasis on proper technique and form. Athletes will be timed and tested on the first and last day to measure progress and celebrate improvement. Each session is packed with engaging drills, games, and activities designed to build speed, strength, endurance, and overall athletic performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, athletic clothing and shoes, and bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack. Get ready to move, compete, and have a blast on the track!

*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly. Parents/Guardians: please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
