Ceramics: Clay Exploration

Experience the tactile art of working with clay! Designed for every level of artist, you'll start with a hand building project to learn some basic techniques, then progress to throwing on a pottery wheel. Learn to center projects, pull cylinders, and shape bowls and vases as time permits. All projects will be functional, sculptural, or decorative. Please wear old clothing to the class, as working with clay can be a bit messy.

Project Pick-up: Completed projects will be fired in the kiln and made available for pick-up one week after the last class.
