3-Day Horse Camp | age 6-15
Step into the boots of a real horse lover and enjoy a hands-on barn adventure! Campers will experience everyday life at the barn with daily riding, grooming, feeding, and caring for the horses—including bath time and learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon. Each day brings time outdoors, new skills, and plenty of chances to make lasting friendships in a structured, positive, and welcoming environment. Riding time is about one hour per day in the arena (no trail rides), where campers will build confidence as they learn how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot independently. Campers are grouped with others who share a similar riding experience, so everyone feels comfortable and supported. What to Wear & Bring Long pants and closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops!) Weather-appropriate clothing for inside and outside the barn Sunscreen, hat, bug spray Water bottle, snacks, and a lunch each day Optional: horse treats for your new four-legged friends! Amazing LEGO Brick Mazes | age 5-12
Attention, future engineers! Get ready for an exciting adventure. Young builders will design and construct their own intricate mazes using LEGO bricks. Calling all dog lovers! Got a goofy, slobbery, tail-wagging best friend at home? This camp is all about celebrating your amazing doggo! Campers will design and create handmade dog toys, a cozy blanket, tasty (pet-safe!) snackies, a colorful pet portrait, a custom keychain, and more fun surprises for your furry BFF. Your pet will even get to “help out from home” one of the days as you make a special craft to honor your friendship! Beyond riding, campers will dive into barn life by feeding and caring for the horses—an important part of being a horse owner. Days may also include making horse treats, creating a fun craft, or playing games. Campers are grouped with others of similar riding experience to ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable experience for everyone. What to Wear & Bring: Closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops!) Long pants and weather-appropriate layers Sunscreen, hat, and bug spray Water bottle Nut-free bag lunch and snacks Optional: treats for the horses ASTM/SEI-certified helmets are provided. My Little Horse Camp | age 2-5 w/parent
Campers will enjoy a hands-on introduction to horses at Boulder Pointe! Participants will have the opportunity to ride a real horse in a safe, enclosed arena, meet several different horses, and learn basic grooming skills—all with a strong emphasis on safety. In addition to the equestrian activities, campers will complete a fun art project and make special horse treats to feed their new four-legged friends. Activities are organized into rotating stations to keep everyone engaged and excited. Parents are encouraged to walk alongside their child while they ride and are welcome to take photos during the experience. The class fee includes one parent/guardian and one child. Please note: A parent or guardian must remain with their child at all times. What to Bring: Sneakers or boots (closed toe and heel) Long pants and layers appropriate for the weather Water bottle ASTM/SEI-certified riding helmets are provided. Peppermint Slime | grades K-5
Create, squish, and sparkle in this class! Kids will whip up festive slime that smells like peppermint and swirl it into jars of holiday magic. This hands-on, sensory experience is packed with creativity, fun, and a hint of peppermint cheer! Please send permission to school informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. Students will check in with EdVenture Club after school. Westwood students attending an after-school class at Zimmerman Elementary will also need to call the Westwood attendance office 24 hours before the class with this information. -
Pumpkin Spice Slime Time | grades K-5
Get ready for the ultimate sensory experience! In this class, you'll have the chance to combine two of the most beloved things around: pumpkin spice and slime. Imagine the delicious aroma of pumpkin spice mixed with the squishy, stretchy texture of slime. Not only will you get to create this magical concoction, but you'll also get to take it home in an adorable jar that you'll decorate yourself. It's the perfect way to indulge your senses and show off your creativity.
