FIRST LEGO League Challenge | grades 4-6
FIRST® is more than robots! FLLC is a competitive, team-based program that works with the LEGO® Mindstorms® product to build and program robots made from scratch. Work together as a team to perform point-scoring missions and develop solutions to real-life problems while having fun building LEGO® models and robots! FIRST Tech Challenge | grades 7-12
This is way more than building robots! FIRST Tech Challenge is an exciting opportunity to develop STEM skills while learning teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Participants will apply real-world engineering principles, including maintaining an engineering notebook, brainstorming solutions, and collaborating with teammates to overcome challenges.Teams will design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in exciting head-to-head matches in an alliance format. Participants call it "the hardest fun you will ever have!" Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students will also develop leadership and communication skills by creating and marketing a team brand and participating in community outreach activities. After that, it’s time to hit the track, test your racing skills, and see if you’ve got what it takes to cross the finish line first!
