FIRST® is more than robots! FLLC is a competitive, team-based program that works with the LEGO® Mindstorms® product to build and program robots made from scratch. Work together as a team to perform point-scoring missions and develop solutions to real-life problems while having fun building LEGO® models and robots! This is way more than building robots! FIRST Tech Challenge is an exciting opportunity to develop STEM skills while learning teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Participants will apply real-world engineering principles, including maintaining an engineering notebook, brainstorming solutions, and collaborating with teammates to overcome challenges.Teams will design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in exciting head-to-head matches in an alliance format. Participants call it "the hardest fun you will ever have!" Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students will also develop leadership and communication skills by creating and marketing a team brand and participating in community outreach activities. Teams will compete in one scrimmage, three league meets, and one league qualifier, with the possibility of advancing to the State competition. *Please note that these dates are subject to change if end-of-season tournament dates or times are adjusted.

There are over 30 individual muscles on each side of your face, all of which can be strengthened and toned, just like arm or leg muscles. Facial exercises may help support muscle tone and circulation, which can contribute to a more refreshed appearance. In this workshop, you’ll learn simple techniques that may help: Soften the appearance of frown and forehead lines Improve the look of lines around the mouth, known as 'puppet mouth' Support a firmer-looking neckline Enhance the appearance of fuller cheeks Reduce the look of puffiness around the eyes Promote circulation and lymphatic flow You’ll leave with easy exercises you can incorporate into your routine to support a healthy, revitalized look. A regular teaspoon and your favorite facial moisturizer will be needed for some of the exercises. Participate online from the comfort of home. The word “Mezze” refers to what we all know as finger foods and dips. Many Mediterranean meals consist of a variety of “mezze” items that come together to create the most wonderful flavors, tastes and textures. Learn how to bring the warmth, color, and flavors of the Mediterranean to your fall and winter gatherings with this festive Mediterranean mezze cook-along class, where Chef Tess (a descendant of Spartans) will guide you through creating a stunning mezze-style charcuterie board. Perfect for sharing or seasonal entertaining any time of year. Your board will include four delicious scratch-made dips, warm-spiced bright Greek meatballs, and handmade pita bread. You'll also learn how to round out your spread with an array of fresh and pickled vegetables, olives, fruits, and nuts for a vibrant, crowd-pleasing spread. The board, platter, or table becomes the canvas upon which we create an edible work of art! Cook-Along mezze items: Silky whipped feta & tzatziki dips, Greek Meatballs, and homemade pita bread. Mezze items to be demonstrated: Muhamarra (a smoky red pepper dip), Greek hummus, and time permitting, some crispy, Greek sesame bread sticks. The demonstration will also include how to build the board, balancing colors, textures and flavors, and how to build interest and visual appeal with using height and practical items found in every kitchen. Equipment: Food processor or blender is needed for the creation of the whipped feta Stand mixer is recommended for the pita bread This experience is all about bold delicious flavors, beautiful presentations, and the joy of gathering around food—Mediterranean style. DASH Sports Flag Football Tykes camps provide young athletes with an introductory experience to the game of football in a fun, safe, and low-to-no-contact environment. Participants will learn and practice key football fundamentals, including passing, catching, rushing, and defense, through engaging, skill-based activities and games. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing and athletic shoes—spikes/cleats are optional. Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2–3-year-old age group and recommended as needed for participants ages 4 and up.

DASH Sports Floor Hockey Tykes camp introduces players to hockey through fun skill-based drills and mini-games. Players will learn how to properly handle a stick, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Please bring a water bottle. Sticks and pucks are provided. Parent participation is encouraged when necessary.

Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is a slow, mindful practice, that encourages connecting with nature through the senses. Research shows that spending time in nature has many benefits including decreasing stress, lowering blood pressure, and improving mood. As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Mary will offer a series of invitations to explore a deeper connection with nature and with yourself. Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle. In the event of inclement weather, participants will be notified via text message (opt-in required during account creation).
