First, you’ll make delicate, paper-thin flour-based wrappers from scratch, then fill, shape, and cook them until golden and crisp. Next, you’ll use convenient rice paper wrappers with the same flavorful filling to create a second version—lightly crisping them in a pan for a light, unique texture. The rice paper version is naturally gluten-free, offering another great option for making spring rolls at home. You’ll also make a delicious sweet chili dipping sauce and learn tips for achieving crisp results without relying on deep-frying. Oven-frying, air-frying, freezing, and reheating techniques will also be covered. Whether you’re new to making spring rolls or ready to take your skills further, you’ll leave with two versatile techniques and the confidence to recreate crispy spring rolls at home, even when specialty wrappers aren’t readily available.
