Bring the flavors of a traditional Greek family kitchen home. In this hands-on cook-along, Chef Tess shares Greek recipes and kitchen traditions learned growing up from her father, a trained chef, and a long line of loving family members, along with her own refined techniques mastered over decades of culinary couture. Participants will create a gourmet Greek souvlaki feast from scratch, including Greek grilled chicken souvlaki, soft homemade pita bread, Greek vegetable rice, tzatziki, her signature souvlaki drizzle dressing, and homemade Greek salad dressing. Generous portions make this a meal that is meant to be shared, with plenty to enjoy later. With decades of experience cooking Greek food, Chef Tess shares the techniques and little touches that transform familiar ingredients into an extraordinary meal—bringing the warmth and flavors of her own Greek family kitchen to yours. Equipment Needs: A stand mixer with dough hook attachment is highly recommended for the pita bread. More info will be included in the ingredient list packet. Several days before class, you will receive an email with an ingredient and supply list, prep packet, and Zoom video conferencing link. A few days after the class, you will receive an additional email with the recipes used during the class. The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.
