Complete your design using one of many glazing options for the finishing touch. Projects can be functional, sculptural, or decorative. Please wear old clothing to class, as working with clay is incredibly rewarding but can be messy. We want you to fully enjoy the experience without worrying about your clothes. Project Pick-up: Completed projects will be fired in the kiln and made available for pick-up one week after the last class. This allows us to ensure that your creations are properly finished and ready for you to take home. -

In this fun two-night hand-building workshop, you will create something truly magical for anyone special in your life. Basic cookie-cutter shapes will be available, but feel free to bring your own inspiration or cookie cutters to complete your projects! Make an additional registration for every family member. Max 3 kids per adult 16+. Project Pick-up: Completed projects will be fired in the kiln and made available for pick-up one week after the last class. Clay Sampler: Pottery for Youth | age 9-16
Get your hands dirty and your creative juices flowing! Our four-week wheel-throwing workshop will introduce you to the basics of creating pottery on the wheel. With thorough direction from our instructor, you'll discover the excitement of watching your creation develop at your fingertips! Glaze your finished piece with your choice of colors. Drawlandia | grades K-5
Back-to-school creativity starts here! In this 4-week class, students will explore a fascinating world of characters, patterns, texture and vibrant color. Appetites don’t stand a chance against the realistic Pizza drawing our students will create as they focus on proportion, detail, and shading techniques. Our adorable Baby Sloth will help students practice expression and character design, while our art history portrait of Hiawatha introduces cultural appreciation and portrait composition just in time to celebrate the fall season. Each lesson blends imagination with strong art fundamentals.• Parents/Guardians: Please send permission to school informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. Westwood students attending an after school class at Zimmerman Elementary also need to call the Westwood attendance office 24 hours in advance of the class with this information.• Transportation: Westwood students will take the EdVenture Club bus to from Westwood to Zimmerman Elementary; they will check-in at the Zimmerman Elementary EdVenture Club site.• Pick-up: All students will be picked up from EdVenture Club immediately following end of class. NOTE - Without a written note sent with your student, the school might not allow them to stay after and might send them home via their regular routine. -

You’ll decorate two pots with popular Southwestern-inspired designs, choosing from a variety of colors and patterns during class. Once your designs are complete, your pots will be sealed and planted with your choice of foliage. Create two unique plant pots that show off your style and are ready to brighten up your room!
