A Valentine’s Feast: Chicken Parmesan, Garlic Rolls & Cannoli
This Valentine’s Day, skip the restaurant crowds and create a beautiful Italian-Inspired dinner together made together in your own kitchen. With St. Valentine himself said to have been Roman, an Italian-Inspired feast seems like a fitting way to celebrate! Join Chef Tess for a delicious Valentine’s cook-along featuring her lighter take on Chicken Parmesan, with tender chicken that is lightly pan-fried and finished in the oven, with homemade marinara and perfectly melted, lightly toasted cheese. A topping of Chef Tess’ personal bruschetta salad will add a bright “touch of love” to the finished chicken.
We’ll also make Chef Tess’ signature gourmet garlic rolls, plus choose your favorite pasta to complete the meal. For dessert, enjoy a demonstration of Chef Tess’ take on Cannoli using phyllo to create the tubes or cups, filled with creamy homemade cannoli filling.
This class is perfect for a romantic date night, a special family dinner, or anyone who loves cooking and celebrating with good food.
Equipment Needs: Stand mixer with dough hook attachment highly recommended for the garlic rolls. More info will be included in the ingredient list packet.
Several days before class, you will receive an email with an ingredient and supply list, prep packet, and Zoom video conferencing link. A few days after the class, you will receive an additional email with the recipes used during the class.

Tess Georgakopoulos
Instructor
Tess Georgakopoulos has been cooking since she was roughly six years old -- well over forty years. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using one's senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with one's own hands and creativity, was, and continues to be, an expression of love in her home. As a skilled home-cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. She has recently started writing her first cookbook, and has a food blog in the works.
