Cinnamon Rolls & Chocolate Dipped Strawberries | Age 8-14
Bake and create in this sweet, hands-on cooking class! Students will learn how to make soft, homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch, including mixing dough, rolling, filling, and shaping their own rolls. While the cinnamon rolls bake, we’ll switch to the sweet side and create chocolate dipped strawberries, learning how to melt chocolate and decorate with fun toppings and designs. Throughout the class, students will practice important kitchen skills like measuring, mixing, following step-by-step directions, and working safely with kitchen tools.
This class is perfect for young bakers who love creating delicious treats and getting creative in the kitchen. Come ready to bake, decorate, and enjoy your sweet creations!

Marissa Getty has been a teacher at Rogers High School since 2004, where she teaches Culinary Arts and Interior Design courses. She attained a Family and Consumer Science Degree from NDSU and a master's degree in teaching and learning from Hamline University.
