3D Printing & Circuits: Build Your Own Robot | age 9-14
Design, print, and power your own creations! Beginners will use Tinkercad to 3D-model robot parts and learn basic DC circuits to bring their robots to life. By the end of the week, each student will have built two working robots, a sketchbot and a drive bot while developing creativity, problem solving, and engineering skills using a laptop and mouse.
Please bring a nut-free snack and a beverage each day. Students who are registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly. Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
